My Ceramic White Seats Are Stained, Help!

Well, it finally happened. My Ceramic White Seats Are Stained with some dye that must have rubbed off from my shirt.

Looks like crap. urghhh!

I have tried a soft microfiber towel with Poorboys natural look. Nothing.

Has anybody tried this stuff called Incredible, its available from bed bath beyond. Suppose to get any stain off..OR a marine cleaner from autogeek.com.

What can i use to clean this dye off?

I've used Magic Eraser on white vinyl boat seats for stains like that.

If you run to Walmart and check the shoe Dept., they sell a boars hair brush for like $5 for leather shoes. Grab that and give it a go. The key to cleaning anything is agitation. A microfiber towel is too fine to really clean the coated leather surface. You may need to get something stronger. I’m not familiar with Poorboy products, if it’s a detailer or conditioner it won’t work very well. You need something stronger.

I would not recommend a magic eraser, it’s basically micro sandpaper. That would be my last resort. The plastic coating over the leather is durable, but my fear would be that the magic eraser would wear away that protection. I could be completely wrong, but I would still follow the path of using the bare minimum to get the job done.

Here’s my friends car I did one year. 50/50

Stick with car products at first, dont go messing with grocery store products- they havev all sorts of bad stuff in them.

If I were being paid to remove that stain, here's how I would go about it:

***Always do a test spot in the back to make sure something crazy doesn't happen!

1. Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner and a microfiber
2. Chemical Guys Fabric Clean and the Tornador blaster- since you dont have a blaster use a microfiber.
3. Chemical Guys Lightning Fast Stain Extractor and a boars hair brush
4. Finish with McKee's All in One Leather Conditioner

She'll have to shed those drawers if she wants to ride.

chemical guys leather cleaner. Works wonders. Used it on the badly stained leather seats in my 93 hummer, now they look good as new.

This product has worked great for me.. I've used it on my 04 Corvette with Shale interior and took out blue jean transfer. I also had ballpoint pen marks in my 96 Corvette light gray interior and this worked, seats looked like new

Chem Guys Sprayable Leather Cleaner is ok, i have some on the shelf, but I doubt it removes a stain. It is more for shining up leather. I bet you will have to use some sort of apc/stain remover first. You will want to finish with the Chem Guys if you buy it.

What is a good stain remover for leather car seats?
