M6 to M6 is good news at least...

Chevy is paying more...

I'm looking forward to this. Pretty sure Camaro is going to run all over the GT again though. I'm curious about magride to magride more than anything.

MBRP was running a special so that is what I went with. It did sound good but the drone was horrible. If I could have had that sound without the drone then it would have been perfect.

Looks like they're pretty close on the street but on the track it's not very close.

Figured as much. The Mustang with PP1 can’t compete on track, but probably rides “easier” on the street.

While it will be nice to get instrumented testing of the 1LE, this H2H will be rather disappointing because we pretty much know the outcome already.

Like I said before, they are NOT gonna let the GT eclipse the Shelby. No way, no how. The GT is the lowest performing and cheapest trim V8 Mustang when produced in the same year as other V8 trims. I bet it won't even come close to even the non-R Shelby on the track. And when it gets in the hands of a magazine tester I bet it won't be doing a 12 flat. It will come in slower than what the Shelby does in the quarter mile and it won't handle as well. Why would Ford still have the Shelby out there if they're gonna make the lowest level V8 Stang outperform it for like $10K cheaper?

Not fair to the Mustang.. guess it evens things out after comparing the GT350R to the ZL1 without 1LE.

I wonder who's behind this, Ford, GM, or Motor Trend.

What's it matter if magazine testers don't get a 12 flat 1/4 mile runs and actual owners do? Are you saying magazine runs are the end all and be all so no other times count?

There’s already been two instrumented tests (one from MT actually) so we have all that info. This will just be a track beatdown lol...

I think he just means that they are more controlled tests. Same fuel, recommended air pressures, weather corrections, multiple passses averaged, etc, etc.

I predict 12.30’s-12.40’s for the A10 and 12.50’s-12.60’s for the M6.

Just like no magazine tests ran high 11’s from an SS...
