My wife's '07 Solara was the quietest convertible I'd been in.
Then I got my Z. |

What is this madness about riding the convertible with the top up?
Audio is subjective. I hated the Bose as it distorted too much and lacked clarity when cranked up with top down so I had to upgrade the stereo system. Make sure you test drive under conditions that are important to you and come to your own conclusions. |

My first convertible and it's amazingly quite with top up or down in my opinion. I trade off a 2016 Z06 coupe and it was much louder by far. Very impressive ride!

Similar experience. I had a C5 Z06 and two C6 copies and the Camaro convertible has less road noise with the top up than either of those two cars. Maybe slightly more than a 3 series hardtop convertible. I am very happy with it as a coupe. However I tend to drive it with top down the majority of the time. 80pct plus !
