Those pieces are not installed at the factory. They're on back order.

However, if you were really gonna do all those mods then you are still better off biting the bullet and buying the ZL1. The ZL1 will maintain the warranty and will hold its value better than a modded 1SS.
Yeah it's pretty much an issue of warranty and any extra cooling you get with the LT4 installed versus adding a blower to the LT1.

thanks for your input guys, i have lots to think about in the next few months. i love both cars and both have so much potential i just want to buy the right camaro for me.

I do see the argument of adding power to the 1LE vs the zl1 platform. And i could be wrong but aren't the seats for the 1LE designed around the c7 seats, i have seen photos of the 1LE and they don't look like recaro zl1 seats.

But everything is on point. Brakes, mag ride, etc. You guys def gave me some food for thought.

Ask yourself how you will actually use the car. If you are going to track the car and make use of all that power and track optimized hardware then great but if spend most of your time stuck in traffic like I am then all that added power will go to waste. You can't really use the power that comes standard on the SS on the street. At least not without fear of jail time.

i will be using the car as a saturday and sunday driver, i will also be tracking the car (autocross) when i can. Aggressively drivin on the the weekends.

For me the added supercharger would be great idea and the perfect mod, yes there are heat issues that could arise but for the most part i think that heat will not bne an issue with the intercooler.

I would ask the question of whether or not the driver is good enough to really notice the difference between the 1LE and the ZL1. In most cases, I'm guessing the answer is "no". But to each their own.

i agree, i don't think most driver's would notice a difference. I mean if you really wanted to get down to the nitty gritty. You could have the car weighed before and after the supercharger install and you could do a track comparision.

But at the end of the day, if comes down to whether you love the ride and it puts a smile on your face.

I agree totally that it comes to a smile on your face. But a lot of people kid themselves that they can utilize the power difference of anything above the SS' 455 ponies.

You can buy a 2016 2SS pretty cheap right now, put a heart beat on it and make 550 rwhp, lower it do a few other mods and be a little over 50k if you can do the install yourself.
This.

Personally, I think a 1LE with the ADM LT4 conversion is a really intriguing option.

$7k and 635hp or $8k and 655hp. With what 1LEs are selling for, add this package and you're right at $50k for one hell of a car.

Unless your an exceptional driver or are running on a big track like the Nurburgring, ZL1 power is apt to get you in trouble or at least not be all that useful.
