2015 1LE or 2017 2ss?

Been trying to figure out if I want to go w the 15 1le or the 17 2ss.. I like different things about both. Mostly I like the way the 15 1le looks. But I like the seemingly smaller look of the 17 and then all the options that go w it.. I hear that handling wise there pretty similar even w out the 1le package on 17.. I honestly realy like both cars and there both about same price in my area.. w wife and kids I can’t afford to do as many upgrades as quickly as I like so I would like to go w the one that’s better stock outa the box.. sound is definately something I like, the louder the better. I’ll probly end up doin some electric cutouts but w that I’m wondering if the ls or lt will sound better... anyways, any kind of inside info or opinions would b great..

Ha someone else just had nearly the same self-debate. A lot said drive both to see, which I agree with. What options on the 2ss?

Fully loaded on the 2 ss... I wanted to test drive both but for the 1Le I’d have to drive a couple hours away.. my work schedule makes it kinda hard.. even the 2 ss is hard to find.. want the white w black accents. I can say I do like to “play around” a lot so I’m wondering if the 1Le will b too sticky for that..

That’s kinda the feeling I keep getting.. plus I just like the idea of getting a car that has a lil more factory warranty and not knowing how it was driven before.. coming from a 99 ss (RIP) I knew either one would b night and day from what I was used to.. I couldn’t make up my mind but def know I want the more aggressive ride feeling, sound and power.. thanks for the feedback

If you can afford a '17 2SS then a used low mile '17 1LE is within your reach...you can thank me later.

Having had all of the above...I'd go with the '15 1LE

The 15 1Le would be a great choice and in your budget ,or hold out for a 17 1Le .I would have to think you can find a 17 1Le for less then a fully loaded 2SS.

New maybe, but on the used market the 1LE is more in demand.

Yea there pretty close in price in Bay Area... just damn near impossible to find a used 17 1LE.. only seem 1 in the past month and was asking $38,000...depending on my tax return wich should b a good chunk I was hoping to put the difference of the 30 down and finance the rest... 15 1le, I’ve found a few... 17 2 ss used not too many and I’m specific on color.. and used 17 1le is rare right now.. unless I buy in Nevada , but then I’m not sure how that works and fees and everything

15 1le and 17 2SS in the same price range?! That's either a hell of a deal on a 17 or a way overpriced 15. I was looking at a low mile 15 1le 3 years ago that was $28k before I bought the NEW 16 1ss for $34k. The 6th gen is better in every way, looks a subjective but no way I'd consider a 5th gen over a 6th if it's in your price range. If it's just the 1le "look" that's selling you, wrap the hood for $60 And buy/powdercoat wheels black on the 17 and you'll be way happier.
