Had the secondary cats removed today. Getting a Magnaflow axle-back (19336) installed next week to finish it off.

Picture time!

These are going bye-bye!

Gotta admit, I winced a little when the sawzall came out, but then I got over it.

Welding the connector back on...

All done! Welds are nice. Guy did a great job.

All in all, super pleased. It's definitely louder on the pipe, but it's still quiet at cruise. The overall tone is the same as the stock, just more volume, which I like. I don't have video of it, though, sorry.

The steering wheel and shifter knob from the upcoming hot wheels is the same color scheme as ours BUT is alcantara like the ZL1.

I will get with Matt at ThatCamaroPartsGuy as it gets closer to them being actually built.

I just spoke with Matt through email earlier. He said he's gonna do some research, said it's usually hard to find the correct parts without a VIN.

You'll love the extra sound volume. I have complete after market exhaust, headers back and there is ZERO drone at cruising speeds. It's obnoxiously loud in the throttle though, I love it.

Haha. That would probably speed the process for us. I mentioned you and your Hot Wheels thread. He may check it out, although I'm sure he's aware of it already.

I’ve got a few friends getting one. And I can always snag one from a certain thread to give to him.

And before it’s over most people will know me it seems. The mods at Fest knew who I was as did Atom Barry (the 50th Guy) lol.

I ended up with 3 options that I liked for my plates. In the end I thought this one was a bit unique and also a tribute to the camaro lineage. The downside is that I've already had a few people confused about the meaning of my plate. I thought it was pretty straight forward. I travel to Whidbey frequently for work, beautiful island!
