In car mount for my $1800 Louis Vuitton rifle?

I'd like it across the back windshield, like a pickup, and so it doesn't get wet.

The problem is not so much the mounting, as it is obtaining the extra Virgin Unicorn Skin and Fur needed to cover the mount, so as to not dent or scratch a Louis Vitton rifle.

Alas, poor leaky windshield thread, it was a great thread, but never 'twill see the light of day again. And clearly thy fair maiden be banned once again.

Perhaps the aformentioned KnightFall will ride to her rescue...

I didn't sign papers on my Camaro until I verified that my hardshell rifle case could fit in the trunk. I have standards that must be met. I had to verify that my M1 would fit in my Solstice GXP trunk-top down- before I bought that.
