Leaving the dealer. Salesman said the nose 'changed about a month ago and nobody will own up to it' but he claims they are changing it back before anyone leaves with it.

Someone may just want it that way, they should leave it up to the buyer.

So...someone was doing a drug deal on a SS clip and the plan foiled before it got missing!

Anyone remember the V6 SS I got from Hertz? According to them the dealer sold them the V6 with SS badges on the back. This car was missing the slot as well on the front.

Hertz tells me that its now a private matter between them and the dealer they got the car from so no updates or apologies. Wonder if they refunded the people that rented that car before me, I think it already had 10K miles on it.

That explains it. Someone bought a RJT V6 car but wanted a mail slot. Salesman said, "no problem, we will swap your bumper with the one on that red SS over there".

The mailslot is very EASILY made functional!

Like saying, the main reason I didn't buy a Camaro is because of the non-functional gills on the sides.

Epic reasoning FAIL!

I didn't get one bc it didn't transform lol. But yes like I said previously the slot can be made to work very easily. And I for one think it compliments the grill. If u wanna talk about something that doesn't belong it's the terrible looking stock grill that looks like a checker board. That has no place on this car. Everything about this car is smooth and slick then a checker board and then the lower grill has a straight grill. Hmm doesn't fit. But that's my point of view not everyone's. but for 300 bucks a heritage grill and I'm happy. Saying a mail slot is y u didn't get a v8 is the most bogus thing I have ever heard. Epic fail dude. Lay off the drugs bud.

Fit a V6 fascia to a V8 then. Problem solved, and you get best of both worlds
