My dad has a '13 Fusion with the 1.6T. While I would consider it to have acceptable power, it's not anything to brag about for sure. 160hp base will do just fine in the Malibu, especially with the weight savings.

As far as looks, I'm not very impressed. That's a shape we've seen many times before. The tail lights do resemble the Impala (which SHOULD have 3 tail lights per side). The big sculptured doors remind me of a Charger. I prefer the 2015 Malibu bodystyle to this one.

Better beleive that if the Malibu gets push button start, the Camaro better!!! Seriously!! sounds petty, but this is one option over any that I want to see in the Camaro. The first time I test drove a Challenger SRT8, I hit that button, I was sold. The adrenalin rush of waking up the beast by a push of a button....MIND BLOWN, PANTS WET. Thankfully, the bank wouldn't approve me for for the loan back in 2010 cause I still owed a sh!t ton on my other car.

I agree the front of the car is hideous, the rest of it is good though. If the camaro comes out with the same type gauges I will be disappointed. I do not like the Impala, ats type gauges they look outdated to me. Hope the camaro gets something closer to the c7. I'm looking at getting a 15 charger srt 392 if Im not impressed with the interior, the guages are a big thing to me, since you have to look at that part of the car probably the most. I know the charger and camaro are 2 completely different cars but I will be driving the car over 25k miles a year, the interior is right up there with performance in my priority list. Man I hope it's better than the Malibu.

They should put it on all cars. No more ignition issues with too many keys causing the switch to rotate. Plus, it should simplify the steering column mechanical engineering. |

The front of the new Malibu ruins the car. It is way too flat and wedge shaped, and the grilles are not very nice looking either. The rest of the car is pretty, but the front fascia just is ugly.

Yeah, I don't get it....How many different grilles does the front end need to have? This Malibu looks like it has three going at the same time....
IMO one is enough....more than that, it looks too busy...too stacked....Even as small as the top one on the Camaro is getting, might as well just make one big one... Will the real grille please stand up....lol... |
