For Those With Manuals What's Your Favorite Driving Shoe?

Not trying to exclude those with automatics, so weigh in too, but manuals generally require more footwork so a good pair of shoes certainly makes the process easier. I've had multiple manual transmissions cars over the years and a good pair of shoes is a must for spirited driving. I currently have several pairs of Pilotis which work pretty well. I really like the rounded heels on them. What do others use/recommend?

I good pair of tennis shoes laced snug. I learned a long time ago my motorcycle boots don't play well with a clutch. They do make a lot of shoes for driving.

Just about any pair of tennis shoes will do the job. Sandals/crocs are an accident waiting to happen.

I would have posted this question in the autocross or track section. You likely would have gotten the responses you're after.

Yes driving shoes do matter. They change alot more
with the driving experience than one would preconceive.
My favorite driving shoe so far is the Sparco Time #77

Thanks, but I wasn't necessarily looking for track/autocross specific shoes, just wanted to know what folks with manuals used for driving shoes for street driving. I have a pair of high top Pilotis that I've used for autocross events. And I know others who use specific track shoes for track/autocross such as racing shoes like Sparcos or Simpsons.
