My only fear is being realized. With the T4 being the base model this means the 6 is going upmarket which means price also. It was nice buying a base model LS with a 6 and upgrading with ZL1 wheels which totally changed the handling. I believe the 6 will now be a $30000 plus car and puts the 8 even closer or above 40.

I hope not! I would think that GM is going to keep the price low on that 4T as I am sure they really want to sell a ton of them and it could really help them to outsell the mustang especially since ford is making the Ecoboost an upgrade. I just don't see them raising the prices much over the current gen cars, at most maybe $1k GM was able to keep the prices on corvette the same before going up later. i guess we will find out in a few months.

That's my point, the 4T replaces the LS as the base which has the 6. I doubt they will lower the base price because it is a 4cyl now.......possible but highly unlikely.

I would say an LGX with the A8 transmission but it's not on the list, and they did not build it.

I must make a correction, not the LGX I meant to say the LGW, the only way that I can see them building a Camaro with an LGW is if it is the 1LE replacement or a Z/24 reborn.

I can see it now: The all new 6th Gen 1LE with MRC, Camaro 1LE Track Pack, ZL1 Brembo Brakes and LGW TT with M6 or A8 Transmission.

Or The all new 6th Gen Z/24 the lightest Camaro ever wrapped around the LGW TT six Speed manual Transmition, Z/28 Suspension Kit with DSSV® Dampers, Z/24 Recaro® Sport Seats.

IMOP my purposed Z/24 and Gen 6 ZL1 would be formidable opponents to just about anything on the road.

I want me a V8 pretty bad. I'd settle for a v6, it will still be pretty dang impressive.

The v6 should be a legitimate high 13 second car... And obviously some may go faster... Not bad I agree

I currently own a '10 Camaro with V6 and a '14 Corvette with LT1. Based on driving my C7 for over a year, those who opt for the V8 Gen 6 Camaro are going to love it. I had a '10 Corvette Grand Sport with LS3 and is an amazing engine, but the LT1 is even better with way more low end torque. But when I decide to trade in my '10 Camaro it will be for another V6. It is a wonderful non-winter daily driver. The C7 is my weekend toy. I have a 4WD Yukon for winter.
