If you use a tire selector like that available at tire rack.com, you will be OK.
It's a pretty popular wheel/tire vendor here on this site. I would hope with his experience he might have caught this for me but it's not fair for me to blame him. I'm the one that ordered them setup like that. It would be great if he can help me out somehow and I sent him a PM explaining whats going on with it. Just waiting to see what happens. If I don't hear anything back then I'll just have to order a set of rear 30's and sell these barely used 35's on ebay or something.

Like you said. Live and learn.

Just a heads up. The vendor offered to swap out the rears for 305/30's. That is great customer service right there. Upon successful completion of the swap out, I will follow up with the details and a well-deserved review of my buying experience with them, also I will update this thread as to whether this resolves the driving issue.

A 305/30 will change the rear diameter from 28.4 to 27.2 and front will remain 275/35 with a diameter of 27.5

Well just to follow up with everyone. I got the 305/30's mounted annnnnnnnd!

SAME THING!

No difference whatsoever. Traction control light blinks, power is reduced greatly. This is absolutely so stupid that I'm about ready to just put my stock wheels back on and sell these wheels.

tire & wheel diameter=((tire width) x (aspect ratio) x 2)/25.4 + rim size.
OEM for example:
245 x .45 x 2/25.4= 8.68 + 20= 28.68 wheel/tire diameter
275 x .40 x 2/25.4= 8.66 + 20=28.66 wheel/tire diameter

Do the calculation for your tires. If fronts are an inch or so different than rears, that's your problem. Also, get your sensors reset. $30 tool from Amazon or dealer will do it for you.

So mine as they are now should be:

Front: 27.6
Rear:27.2

Had the wheels sensors reset and now I'm disconnecting the battery to see if that will help.

Have you taken the car to the dealer yet at all? If you changed the tire size at all, the speedo most likely needs to be re-calibrated...

It's the only thing I can think of unfortunately...

I'm no expert, but if your new tires/wheels are an inch shorter than stock...then the computer thinks there is wheelspin (because the wheel is turning faster). Which would explain the reduced power and flashing light. The computer would need to be tuned to account for the shorter diameters. Maybe someone can confirm that.

I was told by my tuner that it wasn't something that can be changed in the tune. That the fix was to go with a smaller diameter rear tire like I originally did when I swapped out the 35 to the 30 I have now.

He thinks it could be a bad wheel sensor. I guess the only thing left for me to do is to put my stock wheels back on and see if that resolves the issue.

I think it was Diablosport that listed speedo recalibration as part of their tuning ability. I'm pretty sure everyone can tune that. Now whether you do have a wheel speed sensor acting up is another story.

Putting the stockers back on will definitely eliminate a sensor issue.

So I put the stock wheels back on. When I first drive it out of my development it flashed the Traction lights and bogged the engine no power as before but it only did it that one initial time. After that I drove it around a bit more with the stock wheels and it never flashed the trac lights or held back any power. It was basically back to normal as I remember it.

I may switch to the new wheels once more (Ugh so much work.. lol).. Just to see if it comes right back and maybe a longer test drive will help. I dunno. but at least it's not wheel sensor related.

FIXED!!!!!!! WHOO HOO

So I was talking to my tuner about how I put my stock wheels back on and the issue came back just briefly. He told me to put the new wheels back on and drive it. Give the ABS / Trac a good chance to relearn the new wheels.

So just like with the stock wheels the new ones caused the problem a few times in each gear with the blinking light and reduced power and then suddenly full power was back in every gear and no further traction control light. It's perfect now!. MAN what an ordeal.

Thanks for everyone that was helping with responses and suggestions!.
