Differential temp gauge installation.

I have been thinking about putting a temp gauge in my differential. I put in 4.10s, tru-track, and a PCE diff cover. Since I cannot install a ZL1 diff cooler I wanted to at least have a way to monitor the temp on long drives. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have temp problems with a high gear ratio?

I am looking at the gauges here.

The diff temp gauge sensor comes with a weld in bung but I was planning on just drilling and tapping the cover.
