Will 2017 be the end of the Camaro
I have heard rumors from several people that the 2017 will be the last of the Camaros. It will be the 50th anniversary of the car and might be the last to be built

Hope not, Chevy needs something to keep competing with the Mustang.

Not a chance in heck. Will the Mustang's 50th be the last?
Both cars will evolve, but they will continue for years to come. |

As long as there are people that line up to buy them and it makes business sense (read "still profitable"), then GM will still build them.

As long as people buy them, they will make them.

GM is in the process of moving the build from Canada to the US. This is probably what was misinterpreted in what you heard. They certainty would not spend a bunch of $$ and effort to move production to the US, then halt it.

lol. I doubt it. Unless they make another styling gafe like they did with the 4th gen I don't see it going away. GM just brought the Camaro to the fight too late, because if it was out a few years earlier it would have stomped the Ford Mustang. GM isn't letting that opportunity go away.

If that were the case then why introduce a 6th gen for 2016?
