I would prefer if they left the 4 door sports car to the SS or Malibu, like others have said.

I'd like to see a 2 door V8 Impala, with 3 tail lights per side as Impalas are supposed to have.

The Chevelle was a full size car. Why would they bring it back smaller than the Camaro?

I agree it should at least be Malibu sized especially since that is where it began. A powerful family hauler.

The Chevelle needs to stay dead. Chevy lacks the engines to bring it back where it needs to be. It would end up bigger, heavier, more expensive and slower than the Camaro.

It always was bigger, heavier and more expensive that the Camaro, just not always slower. I'd be OK with one as long as it has a V8 (LT1) and drives the back wheels. None of this wrong-wheel-drive stuff they keep using on their cars.

Or worse, FWD V8s. Wasn't there a concept Chevelle some years back?

I would be ok with it as well and I think most people would be. As long as it was along the same lines as the 90's Impala SS. Big, heavy, comfortable yet very powerful and RWD.

The first generation Chevilles (64-67) were NOT big and heavy, it was 68 when the damn thing started to grow and put on weight/size.

Well, yeah I could have made that more clear. My point was that I wouldn't want the Chevelle to come back and just end up more expensive and slower than the Camaro.
