Adaptive cruise control?

Anybody catch if adaptive cruise control was one of features announced?

Thanks for the vid but is the new Camaro going to have it? Can't find any of the screenshots of the interior in high enough resolution to clearly see the steering wheel cruise option when you zoom in to them and I didn't see it called out anywhere.

I am sure I read it somewhere. It was in along with the blind spot and crosspath protection tech info.

If it doesnt have ACC, whats with the camera-looking semi-circle cutout in the front fascia (passenger side) of the RS shots?

I assumed that was some sort of sensor for ACC :/

That sucks. I was hoping for adaptive cruise control, but its certainly not a deal breaker.

Maybe for lane departure or collision alert

I use it every day... almost all the time I'm driving. Just depends on the type road/traffic you drive on, I suppose.

I use it even at 40 mph on roads where there's light traffic and no stop lights or signs.

Just because you have 400+ hp at your disposal doesn't mean you need to use it every second.

Radar cruise would certainly appeal to me even with a stick shift, which I know they don't make with it.

The new 2016 Volt didn't have ACC but will be offered on the 2017 Volt, perhaps it'll come to the Camaro too?

ACC differs quite a bit from carmaker to carmaker...The way other GM vehicles work are that it just isn't for the highway but can work in stop and go traffic too...
