I've read somewhere that the camaro would be based of the CTS alpha platform,http://gmauthority.com/blog/2014/06/...-cadillac-cts/ how much of a difference would that make in the interior? I know it's a stretched version of the alpha, but that's about all I know. I want a smaller lighter camaro, but I kinda need the leg room, I'm 6-6.

bump
Bumping this as it gets close to the reveal. Hopefully we'll get some new information about this next Saturday. With the reveal, are the attendees able to sit in the revealed 6th gen or is it look only?

So what do you guys think? Leg room seems to be slightly longer but headroom seems to be slightly less. Do you think it will be about the same?

Specs were in the main thread, but too lazy to look them up right now. Front leg room increased by about 2/10ths of an inch, but headroom went down like 1.2 in or so.
A review I read on hotrod indicated the rear seat and especially rear seat headroom is where you can really feel the squeeze of the size reduction. |

From http://www.*********media.com/produc...aro-specs.html:
Headroom (in / mm): 36.6 / 930 (front) Legroom (in / mm): 42.6 / 1083 (front) Not sure if that helps or not |

Car and Driver quote:
"The driving position is much as it was before, with a high beltline and a narrow view out, although the cowl is about an inch and a half lower. This feeling of being buried in the cockpit is particularly strong if you lower the seat all the way, as it goes down farther than it did before. Taller drivers will appreciate this change." The camaro needed one inch more of front head room. Mustang and challenger both have more comfortable cockpits.

Might work
Well, if the measurements are about the same but there's more ability to adjust the seat to accommodate taller/larger drivers, this might be a win then. I am 6'7'' and I am going to need all the room I can get. Hopefully this does that. I'd be heartbroken if I had to look for another car because I couldn't fit in the camaro.

For those who have sat in it...
Could you please state your height and weight (if your comfortable with disclosing that information ) and how you felt in the new camaro, both leg and head room. I know it will ultimately come down to me trying it out myself but just trying to get an idea.
