I think G80 is used for all LSD RPOs.

So the Camaro LSD while the code is g80 will be different in design etc. or still be a locker? The one in my Sierra is an Eaton. I am not familiar with what they put in the Camaro for a LSD.

My first two Camaros had the Torsen and my last one was an auto equipped LT so no LSDo not recall that Chevy changed its Camaro LSD for Gen5.

Apparently the SS is a clutch LSD, not sure about this. Below are some links on info on upgrades available. The last is is an Eaton.

G80 for trucks is a locking differential. G80 for cars is limited slip.

Torsen are gear limited slips. Camaros use clutch pack limited slips. Z/28 I think uses a helical/Torsen style diff.

The TrueTrac appears to function like the Wavetrac I have in my Sonic, including the gear oil recommendation.

It is just a misprint. (an embarrassing one)

If you go to the build guide. The 1LT and 2LT show an "A" with a sub-scripted "1" signifying that it is only available for the manual versions. Where as the SS shows standard with no subscript.
