Differences between the LFX engines
So what is being done with this engine to have these spreads in numbers?

Well there can be a several things. Like the Camaro may have a freer flowing intake and exhaust. And they can use different tunes for different applications. Probably the mechanicals are the same in all the engines. If the engine itself was different more than likely it would have a different designation for each application. Like previous to the 2012 Camaros had the LLT.

Another likely reason is that there are different intake manifolds on some of those vehicles.

Tuning. Or just rating, honestly. Notice how the ATS has 2hp less and 4ftlbs less at peak. You can't exactly accurately measure that.
It's not like... um... the LSA and LS9, for example, that have different superchargers and various parts. They're all mostly identical, minus the intake manifold and the exhaust depending on the application, but it's just rating. Oh, like the Corvette and Camaro LS3. Notice how the Corvette has like 10hp more on the same engine. Yeah.
