Stupid auto update got me! Suddenly, I was running 4.26.0.3 and Waze maps were no longer an option on my commute, this morning.

Luckily, I still had the install set for the beta version that works for me (4.24.0.113) so had to uninstall Waze, then re-install the beta version.

Oh, and I turned off auto update, which I thought I had done, but apparently had not.

It'll be fun to have it working again, as I have sent my V-1 off for an update, so am driving blind, so to speak...

Turn off auto-update and download version 4.26.0.906 from the apk mirror site. It's the most current beta that works with Android Auto.

Wanted to verify that this worked nicely for me today. Thanks for the heads up!

How did you know it would work? Are you just trying them all to see?

FWIW, I was headed back home from the dealer after picking up the car which was in for the trans line recall, oil change, rear diff noise, and a loose nav screen. As I drove along, with Waze maps displayed, I touched the little mic icon on the screen and said "go home". It said "handing off to Waze" which then routed me home. Cool. It also allowed me to adjust map zoom by pinching the car screen, as though it were a phone screen. I never tried that before, so don't know if it has always been that way.

Available in the Play store like normal apps. No need to sideload the apk.

Confirmed...it's out! No need to sideload from mirror site anymore. It's available on Play Store and works great so far!
