Were any of you guys out at Salt Lick in Driftwood Sunday? We saw a lot of Camaros and a Green ZL1 there. My buddy and I were out for a cruise.
Mine is the Fiero. I hope to join the ZL1 crowd soon.

Anyone recommend a good dealership in the N. Austin area? I've had the absolute worst time getting anything resembling a positive response out of AutoNation Chevrolet West Austin on 183. I've been trying for two weeks now to get someone to look at my A8, because I'm 99% positive I've got the TCC slipping that's been documented a lot around here.
I just can't get them to respond. I've called my service adviser and left messages with no call back, I made an appointment and when I showed up I was told "the guy" that can look at transmissions was out to lunch and to come back later. (I had an appointment, where I'd specifically detailed what was wrong and that I wanted a ride-along with a tech to diagnose) Then I called the service manager and left a message but STILL wasn't called back. It's just flat out been terrible. I even purchased the car FROM them back in January and am still getting this kind of treatment. So I'm looking for a new dealer that can take a look at this thing so I can get it warrantied before it does damage to the transmission. -Ryan

Dropped the car off at Don Hewlett this morning. First impression is that those guys are great. They listened to what I was describing as the issue, even though I came in saying "I looked on the internet and saw this" (which I know is the scourge of professional diagnosis). Took the foreman for a ride, he's familiar with the same TCC shudder in the C7 with the 8L90E, and it only took about 0.5mi to reproduce the issue.
He immediately said "Yep, that's the issue. Let's turn around and get you taken care of." All in all, I'm super pleased thus far. We'll see how it acts after the transmission triple flush and fill. -Ryan

Most local 6th gens I've ever seen! I think I saw 4 white SSs and one blue 1LE. Didnt meet a single owner on my adventures though. Nobody was hanging around their own car!
