Well said.

My car is built, waiting for dispatch in Lansing, Michigan.
Dealer said it should be there at dealership in two weeks.

Same for me. Dealer has no idea when it will actually get here.

My main concern would be will I be able to get a ZLE? The suspension was a toss up, but I like the idea of being able to change the firmness, granted not as firm as the 1LE. The aero bits, while they are functional, they would just make me feel like I had to always be hustling in the car in order to get the most out of it. I understand the desire to have the "top dog" Camaro, and the ZLE is definitely that. I would've been torn if the ZLE had more power, although something tells me that the price difference would then be more than a few thousand. Good luck to anyone trying to get one.

Just a word on the "harshness" of the ZLE suspension: I think this issue has been exaggerated. I have a ZL1 mag ride and a ZLE and let me tell you on a crappy road, they both ride rough. On a smooth road, there is no difference until you turn into a corner and that ZLE sticks and stays flat at the limit. The ZL1 doesn't suck either!

I'm installing a new set of APEX forged sprint line wheels (VS-5RS's in ZLE specs) with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's soon so I'll provide an update on the "harshness" of the ZLE's ride on a different set of tires.

I to have had both and 100% disagree. It’s a night and day difference for me. I couldn’t even drink in my ZLE on even fairly crappy roads. Love the dual personality of the mag ride cars.

I'm gonna have the best of both. Taking a new ZL1 and installing FEA suspension components except for the DSSV. SPL rear suspension. 1LE aero. 19x12 & 19x11 Apex forged. My goal is to have the ultimate track car with MAG dampers. Also installing a DSC-Sport MAG ride controller. Expensive but definitely worth the investment.

I've owned 2 ZLE's. It'll be interesting to see how this project turns out.

Very well said. I also will never track the car. I did that years ago in my 20’s. But l do want the superb handling of the ZLE on mountain roads and even just cruising around in the suburbs. My money my choice. Everyone has that!!

So at this point it sounds like I need to talk to my dealer and get my 22 order switched to a 23? I ordered back on Jan 21st and still haven't been allocated. Also had the PDR so guessing I should drop that as well?

I have had a 22 on order since September. It was just picked up by GM on 5-20-2022, and the dealer switched it to a 23. They did call to verify the options I wanted were still available. Now the real waiting begins.

Received the call that my 2022 ZL1 is built. Got a fairly long winded song and dance about delivery difficulties however. Well at least it’s built.
