I don't think a new thread was needed to reply to an existing one... plus it's Airaid, like Band-Aid but without the dash.

How did you know it was a response to thread. I all most asked if there was a question or reason for his statement.

I'm 99.9% sure it was in response to the other thread... but if it wasn't, I'd still entertain the subject just to see where it goes.

We put countless hours into the R&D of our system, ensuring that it flows well, but does not mess up the mass air flow of your vehicle.

Please let me know if you would like to discuss further. I would be glad to help!

Airraid = 100% complete trash

RotoFAB/CAI/Vararam = Unquestionable proven leaders, products and customer service second to no one anywhere.

Bull shit,
I've used Air raid products in many of my other vehicles with good results.
Roto fab is a nice product too, especially if you want to use their resevoir, which won't fit with the Airraid unit.

Try reading Ted's independent test he did a few years ago.

Weren't those tests performed on an SS? Don't recall seeing a comparison on a ZL1 but would like to being that is in question. Do you have a link?

Plus, I think Redline in S. FL uses Airaid and they at one time had the fastest ZL1. I love my Roto-Fab, but I would not said Airaid is junk.

They were tested on the SS, but both engines are relatively the same minus the supercharger. People who really want to get the most of their Z will get the tune, add headers or cam, which all require a tune anyway.

There are a lot of air cleaner assemblies out here and by the time they are tuned are within a few HP of each other, as you can see by the test on the SS cars. There are other tests out there, just google air filter test Camaro.
