I do believe that the tires are directional and are designed to rotate in one direction. Flipping it around would change the direction of rotation which could effect traction on a wet road. Even though balancing can be achieved, I think a tire turning in the opposite direction than it was designed to roll is a bigger problem. No one checks for the obvious!

Oh, and I wouldn't get to cocky cause I am sure you have plenty of questions I would consider a "dumb-ass question" that I could respond to with a "sarcastic response"

Internet trolls...
No, I don't and neither do you.

I can't speak for the particular model, but the stock tires on my 2011 LT/RS (Pirelli p-Zero) were not unidirectional. They COULD be swapped left to right. But if you dismount the tires they WILL need to be rebalanced. Balancing accounts for any irregularities in both the tire and and the wheel (together), and can only be done once the tire and wheel together are balanced.

I thought some of this was pretty funny and I've had both a V6 and a V8. I was waiting for someone to say that since May1st is just around the corner to make sure they refill it with summer air and not winter air.

Actually, you should rotate the summer air from the fronts to the rears and vice versa. And don't forget the check the headlight fluids.

This is why I stopped coming to this forum.

Every question, or thread when someone is trying to recover information they need is just thread jacked with stupid comments and jackass remarks.

Answer the question or don't post, shouldn't be that hard.

Answer to the question is, I wouldn't! What we have here is, V6 and V8 trolls. I have to admit, trolling can be fun sometimes. Some people, mostly V6'ers, get a little salty if someones pokes at a model. By the way...

Assuming the tire is not directional, nor asymmetrical, go ahead have them balance the wheel. Even if they hit the mark exactly, remember the orientation of the tire has changed from side to side, which is also a factor on a radial tire. Not to mention that the incident itself may have caused internal damage to the belts themselves, depending on the construction of the tire. Just too many factors involved to not want to balance it.

This is a forum, not a help desk. Many people have answered, including yourself. Let the people have fun.
