Thats strange.. Your owners manual explains it too i believe. Sometimes it can be finicky, you have to be dead stopped with your wheels straight. Youre holding the gas the entire time right? Dont let off until you shift to second gear

Hi Dave, If you want to, Try, to Smoke Matt, you should come to Jannetty's Drag Race Day at Lebanon Valley Drag Way on 9/11/15. Last time they let us race our convertibles all day with no roll bars. When they ask what time you think you will turn tell them you don't know because you never raced it before. They will let you run and won't kick you off until you beat 11.5
No matter what power you have that's hard to do on street tires.
Hope to see you there!
Sal

Hi Jay, I thought Launch Control was really going to help me at the Drag Strip but I was wrong. My car comes out at about 4200 RPM'S and all it did was spin my tires, even with drag radials. I found my best times were where I almost didn't spin at all. I revved the engine to about 2500 RPM's and at the last yellow light I dumped the clutch and floored the gas at the same time. My car almost bogged and took off like a rocket. I was able to hold out first all the way without spinning. The No Lift Shifting was the ticket. That really works well. Good Luck and have fun! If I'm not Tuna Fishing on the 19th I'll try to make the show. I'm still mad we didn't get to all go to the RICOA together this year.
