Corvette/Camaro showroom advertiseing video tape

This was in the wayyyyy back room of the dealer I work at. I have no way to play this to see whats on it. It's not even marked with a year. Doe's anyone know what year this is from?

It looks like it runs on a continuous loop like there should be a player in the showroom for this.

The only clue is a small code on the bottom.

And found some other cool stuff.

Old OLDS hubcap new in box.

Then they brought out this old visor. Any idea what it's from???

Is the tape like 35mm film? Or is it magnetic like VHS?

I do not know. I need to be schooled on how to tell the difference. It was rather thin in width, not wide like a VHS tape.

You can look thru film and see an image...

Magnetic tape is opaque, can't see thru it at all.

If it's film you may be able to copy it, if it's magnetic you would likely need the player it was designed for. I've never seen a cassette like that.

All I know is I'd sure like to see what's on it.

I could not see any images on it. I must look for the player. They don't throw hardly anything away around here.

I'd say tape is late'60's early '70's. "Technicolor" hasen't been used in over 40 years. Chevy made film-tape/projector kits in the '50's-'7o's. Forget what the sets were called.

What is the size? It almost looks like a mini disc? If so I have a player. The Visors look like it is for a C3 corvette (68-82).

There are similar tapes for "Chevy Van" and "Blazer" from 1972 for sale on Ebay right now.

The guy says he hasn't tried them out but he's been told they can be played on an old 8mm player.
