I have had no issues with mine, best car for the money in my book. Good luck with the repair and enjoy the ZL1.

GM did replace the s/c, however it still makes noise but not as loud at least is what im told. I will be picking the car up either tomorrow or saturday from the dealer.

BTW: GM stated that they replaced the s/c at good will since i was complaining of it being loud.

THANK YOU GM you really know how to take care of your customers!!!

I got the car back home, the s/c still makes the noise just not as loud & they aligned all four wheels since it was out pretty bad.
GM states this was done under good will. They are so generous
Hopefuly no more problems from here on out since im stuck with the car!

I might be a little insensitive here but didnt they warranty it and replace it without much guff? You even said that it wasnt making a noise when you took it off the lot but it started when you got home. All cars have components that will fail and you obviously got one that had something really wrong with it. However, to just badmouth the product when you got it replaced under warranty without issue is a little much.

I can bet they didnt do it on "good will" because that means the dealership picked up the tab. Just dont see it happening but post the service ticket.

I had to kiss there ass to get this done, now that i think of it i had to kiss there ass through this whole escapade on everything. Products that fail at 150 miles is ridiculous especially on a $56k car!

A new dealer might be in order then. When we had a high pressure pump fail on our Terrain our dealer took it right in, even though it wasnt throwing any codes, and got it replaced without any issue on our side. They knew something was wrong and werent going to take the "its the direct injection making noise" excuse.

So, how about the service ticket??

Also, do you really need to tell people how expensive it is? We all know what a ZL1 costs. They still use the same stupid idler pulleys that a 1SS uses as well as another thousand parts that come on the base Camaro.

The dealer was great, im talking about GM, the ALMIGHTY GM, everyone bow down, wait a minute, stand up & crouch to kiss the great GM ass. Do it now since its a privilege to own one of their cars.

Yea, thats what I thought.

It sucks to get a defective part but the way that owners handle it can vary greatly. Sorry for your luck.

If that's the way you feel you probably should have picked a different car.
