Any news on the 2.0T?

Is there any info on the 2.0T yet? I thought I saw that it was now available to be ordered. If so surely there is some info on the engine and whatever updates have been made to it over the version in the ATS.

Not until next year. I too am waiting for the LTG, but be patient. If you want to know how it will perform. Just look at the ATS. Pretty much sums it up. It will be on par with performance with the EcoBoost mustang.

Per a prior post from Becky Doyle it may be available on the GM Order Work Bench beginning with the November 12 order cycle. We have been told there are specific differences to the ATS version but not specifically what the differences may be. I expect we will have that info from Chevrolet around that date.

I'am considering the 2.0T or the V6.
Either would have to be the 8 speed auto. due to disability.
Your thoughts, as always final decision is mine along with options.

The 2.0T now shows up on the build and price on the Chevy website. When are we going to hear some news on what the differences are between the version in Camaro and the ATS?

Does anyone know if we are getting any news on the 4 banger any time soon? Like the difference between it and the ATS engine and specs and dyno curves etc?? When will the car come out?

First they built some last week some 68 cars, I know we have one with a build date of 1/11/16, as fare as I know the engine is the same as the ATS unit, only real difference between the two is mounting points (timing covers).

One of the people on here works at the engine plant where they build the 2.0T and he has said there is something different about this engine going in the Camaro. But, when he said that he wouldn't say what the difference is because nothing had been released by GM regarding it.

It would be nice to hear something about the 2.0T.
Should we be concerned that it is taking so long?

Looks like some production has started. But who knows how long will they be in Quality hold? At the end of the day best to have all of them at 100%.

I just heard a rumor that some 2.0 turbo models are may be in the hands of dealership owners. At least one anyway.

If they were out sooner I would have gotten the turbocharged one.

I got a notice on Friday that 2.0 production is delayed until late February.
