LT4 fuel upgrades install time?

I am getting the LT4 HPFP, injectors and ZL1 fuel pump assy. installed along side my Magnsuon blower - anyone know what the general install time for the fuel upgrades portion would be?

With the intake off, the HPF system: including injectors, would take say 40 minutes to R and R at a normal place, I 'm sure some will claim 20 minutes, but we are not talking about racing, heck somebody with all the tools lined up and parts our to the bag probably put that under 10 minutes... till a clip breaks off one of the injectors... The LP side... well gotta drop the tank and to do that.... will it gets interesting.

I'll be doing the full system soon but I plan on an auxiliary low side pump rather than dropping the tank. More money, less headache.

My thoughts too, plus they seem to supply more vs the LT4 LPs intank.

Added time to deal with one of the fuel lines. The one shipped with my flex fuel sensor is not long enough, the one shipped with my Mangsuon is mostly long enough, but crimps near the left side adapter. My shop is going to fabricate me a new one since the ones I was given don't quite fit.

It doesn't look so bad in the photo, but when held exactly how it needed to be..

So where is the HPFP located at, under the intake?

I am tempted to put the LT4 injectors and HPFP in my 1LE before I drop it off for the Procharger install.

Sorry, I am dumb on this one. What are the options for a "low side pump" instead of the in-tank pump. I didn't realize there was another option.

DSX makes an auxiliary pump that to my knowledge pushes more fuel than the LT4 in tank pump. The only caveat is you have to drill into the gas tank. Kind of scary at first but the whole system takes less than 2 hours to install. Whereas the in tank is like 6-8 hours I believe.

I'm looking at the DSX kit which is $1000 and the Skid Mark Garage kit which is $600. Skid Mark says they use the same Walbro pump that DSX uses. I have the DSX E85 kit so I would like to use their kit but $400 difference is significant.

Removing the Exhaust and Driveshaft is probably the most difficult part of dropping the tank.

If your going to drop it make sure you have the fuel level below 1/4 tank & have the lock ring tool to properly install the lock ring.

Gm book is 3 hours labor on in tank pump. Ironic that I pulled my motor and did everything but the LT4 LP side pump, but it did take the shop right around 3 hours to install it.
