Info please. RS spoiler to SS spoiler
My wife and i really like the SS spoiler and have a RS with the RS spoiler. Before i buy a paint matched one, what all will i have to do to install the SS Spoiler? Also is the trunk lid already paint matched under the RS spoiler? Now if some one here lives in Missouri and has a Red SS and wants to do a straight up swap for mine so they can do the bill style im up for that as well. Thanks.

You will Have exposed holes from the RS Spoiler that will need to be welded and painted, if you want to put on the SS spoiler wing.

You could just wrap the holes tbh, or get a new trunk lid.

Or find someone who wants to swap their SS lid with yours. There were several threads in the past few months from owners who don't like the standard stanchion SS spoiler and want a blade or something similar to the RS one, so you may get lucky.
Another tip if you want to save some $$$ on the new SS spoiler, this kit from RPI Designs is a great deal, it uses the factory SS trunk holes and looks identical if you order it painted. Installation is not difficult either, although somewhat time consuming (in my case I also had to drill the trunk holes into a blank trunk lid, and the paper template just doesn't stay put on top of ceramic coating, because the coating repels all dirt and painter's tape won't stick to it either, heh...) https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item...r-spoiler-kit/ Good luck

As far as your paint-matched question, the part of the trunk underneath the spoiler is painted.

Just find someone in the area that's willing to swap out their SS trunk lid for your RS trunk lid. A member of this forum and I met up after one of his track days and we swapped ours out. Obviously make sure ya'll have the same paint. You'd be surprised to see how many are willing too do so since they want aftermarket blade spoilers, etc. that fit on the RS.
