ZL1 1LE NOT AVAILABLE MONTH AFTER ORDER
Got a call from my dealer who I paid a $10000 deposit to on Feb.21 that the ZL1 1LE that I ordered is no longer available! I'm like WTF?
They said they cannot find one in BC or Alberta either. I told them to start looking further East or even stateside. They said they're working on it and will get back to me.... *fingers crossed* |

uhhhh..... you sound pretty calm. If my dealer sold the car I put a $10k deposit down for to someone else I would be losing my mind and raising hell.

Found a car but the guy wants to sell the "Special Allocation" he has in his possession for ONLY 15K. WTF???
My dealer is now in contact with GM on this. Waiting to see what they have to say about it. Never heard of somebody scalping vehicles before! LOL! |

I realize that dealerships can abuse that and place an SRE and then say the buyer backed out...but deal with those dealerships where it is occurring instead of not selling the cars to those who want. I know dealerships who want to sell more Camaros but can't get orders picked up due to no allocation. They cannot get the allocation raised because they need to sell more Camaros. Nice catch 22 they got going there....

Well after GM got wind of what this guy was trying to pull off they withdrew the special allocation from him and transferred it to a dealership in the area. I was number one on the list with GM and I got the car! It is being delivered to my local dealer this coming Monday! SO STOKED!!!
