Frankly the process is 100% garbage. It feels like 1995. It's 2015 and I cant get decent info about a 40,000 dollar item I am purchasing? I can get serious information almost anything else I order nowadays but God forbid on a frikin car. Convoluted status codes and helter skelter even history, no explanation of QC holds until dedicated people sniff it out. I can honestly say I am thoroughly over this process. No me finally getting my car won't make it worth it and no I will not go back on my "never doing this again" statement-I definitely will NOT be doing this EVER again. I have probably made a post or 2 saying such before this one but it being December 1st and no idea even of an eta on a car i ordered in effing August has me feeling extra salty. The process needs to be cleaned up and information on things like QC holds and tracking need to be GREATLY improved and there really is no excuse for it.

Oh...well I was only stuck at bayed for a day or two at most I think...which happened two times I believe and then went to 4200....but was only at 4200 for a day before going to 4300.

I'm wonder if you order history will show a 4200 and 4300 on the same day (today)?

This +1. I'm not evening looking for info on the car anymore, its all BS anyway. I check this to see if anyone else starts getting their cars (which I hope is soon). The Onstar crowd are probably the only ones with reliable info but not all dealers are up for doing that. My car was produced on 10/13 and has bounced around the different status codes since then. Also, the DBC and chevy chat often conflict in what they report. Today I was told 4000 after being at 4300 for the better part of November. Last week chevy chat said the car was being off loaded at the distribution center though the next day that turned out not to be the case when my dealer called the distribution center looking for the car. Chevy chat did say sorry for the confusion so it's fine (as my head exploded). It will come eventually and it will be awesome, until then I'm disappointed with the lack of tracking info available for my order but not much I can do but sit back and wait like everyone else.

Chevrolet does not admit to a problem when there is a hold. Notice through all the enterprising investigations done by members here, and some vague references by a few dealers, Chevrolet has not admitted there is a qc problem leading to an extended qc hold.

I member pointed out there may be lawyer intervention for that and although at first a rejected that idea, I now believe that is it. To repeat, Chevrolet has not ever released substantive info regarding anything related to a qc hold, including admitting there is such a hold.

GM customer care reached out to me on Twitter, they open a case and are looking into providing me details on what's taking so long. I fully expect to get no real answer.
