Decisions Decisions
Hey guys this is my first post and I am happy to say I will be joining the Camaro family very soon. I will be leasing a Camaro for a little over 3 years in the next week. My budget has me stuck between the 2LT RS or a standard SS. Which way do you think I should go? I wont be racing but driving a car with some power is always fun. Thanks

Get the SS.
EDIT: It's not because the 2LT RS is bad. I just assume you'd want a V8 over creature comforts. |

Do you want the power of the SS or all of the gadgets that go with a loaded out V6.
I say SS. If your on a budget keep in mind the premium gas and higher insurance. |

I have had plenty of power when necessary with my 2LT. 110+ with more power if needed. Was a nice smooth ride. No need for an SS as I no longer need to race others. You would enjoy either.

Generally speaking I put V6 owners in 3 categories: People who have a toy. People who plan on getting a toy. (That's me) People who had life specific, area specific or character specific motives for the V6. (also me) And yes, people can belong to more then one category. |

The comforts are definitely nice. Leather, gauges, HUD (absolutely addictive) and of course the RS package gives the rims/lights/matching fin. Heated seats are extremely helpful in the winter months in winter states. I've had plenty of people in my car that were blown away at how polished it was and I haven't done anything to it outside of NPP exhaust and the colored footwells/cupholders. As I mentioned before, you're not going to have a problem passing people on the road. It really is up to what you're looking for. Do you live in the city? Gas an issue? How much power are you looking for if you had to give an estimate? |

Get what you want , If absolute speed than the ss , If you enjoy a little more bells and whistles and better gas mileage with good power than the V6 is for you

Since your leasing im guessing no mods. Id test drive both see which one you like best.
