Cool Stock Camaro Stock No More

Okay I have a stock (except for a K&N Typhoon) 2011 SS A6 and I want to do long tube headers and a full exhaust. Any suggestions on a good combo?

Stainless power. Great quality for a budget price. Don't skimp on the "Walmart brands" of car parts.

Along with stainless works retro chamber cat back. Or the new across pipes (can't think of model)

Kooks LT's with cats and Solo Mach XL catback. I LOVE the combo! Quiet on the inside when you need it and loud as hell when you want it!

Pre tune, max 4.5k rpm's

Post tune banged the rev limiter on accident

Ok, from a guy going the same route, do this:

1. Buy longtube headers from Speed Engineering. Install them and see what you think about the sound. If you like it you can just keep it like that.
2. If you don't, then modify the rest of the exhaust after that.

First post eh.... I suggest using the search feature on the top menu bar and trying to find similar posts with similar cars exhaust sounds as many over time did do posts like on utube of the sounds...Good Luck.

Speed engineering long tubes are great quality headers and a rockin price. go for those, and with the money you saved you can put it towards the catback of your choice

I have a 2012 L99 with Roto-Fab intake, Stainless Works headers, Flowmaster Outlaw axle-back, tuned with SCTX4 from RDP Motorsports by Dynosteve.

Excellent person to deal with, and good prices. I got everything from him except the axle-back, which was my first mod.

The tune is the most important thing. Lag during shifts is gone, AFM is tuned out, Low Octane table is tuned out. No CEL's ever.

Car not only sounds better, but has much better performance vs. stock.

Kooks LT headers, skip the cats a good tuner will make sure it passes. I did Magnaflow because there was a video on line of a muffler shop putting all these different exhausts up to the pipes on an SS. I'm not nineteen anymore so I like the idea of having a deep throaty sound that's pretty subtle at highway speeds. But man when I open it up it'll make people jump.

do the headers first.

i loved the sound of just the headers swap.

if you wanna change it more then try a muffler delete if you want it even more different go with corsa.

hell once ou start modding you can never start my goals always where to go faster... forced induction.

get a gameplan before anything as modding cars aint cheap.
