I can start out at 6 in the morning with a clear w/s and 85 degree weather and 85% humidity outside. I have my AC at a comfortable 75 degrees inside and then start to get the fogging up of the w/s even though all directed airflow is at me. I could easily clear it by redirecting the airflow and/or altering the heat level. I have not had this happen on any other car when in my normal settings above that continues to do this throughout my drive, but the Camaro does. When all airflow is directed and me and the a/c is on, there should not be this amount/type of fogging. I think waxing my w/s has minimized this affect, but not stopped it totally.

This will definitely work for fogging / condensation on the inside of the windshield but I think most of us have this condensation issue on the outside if I'm not mistaken...at least that's my problem.

Interesting! But from what I've been reading here, the condensation is forming on the outside of the windshield and be cleared with the wipers. OR are there 2 different conditions that are happening...inside and outside?

I get it on the outside - that's the issue, right? The wipers clear it. It's annoying, but nothing the wipers can't take care of. Surely it's caused by the heat from the engine coming out the back of the hood - little to do with atmospheric temp once you start moving. That heat hits the outside, the cold air from the vent hits the inside, and the outside steams up. So maybe an easier fix is redirecting the heat from the back of the hood? It's such a small issue in the grand scheme of things that I keep forgetting to try and fix it, but mayhaps this weekend shall be the time I remember to experiment.

Right on the outside of the w/s for me too. Yeah I could put it on heat and defrost and get the w/s to clear on the outside, but just driving with normal A/c it fogs on the outside with the cold air leaking from the defrost vents hitting the warmer w/s and the condensation forms on the outside w/s

I suggest NOT doing the fix for the window. Got mine back today after a LONG week and it is absolutely no better than it was before!

Are all models experiencing this issue? or only the SS? I have noticed this issue too but it doesnt occur very frequently.

It's worse in warmer more humid places like FL

Yeh..but some say they had the surgical procedure done but are still hurting, and was not a successful operation.

And I am saying don't do it
I just had it done. They had to order a new windshield, and zero improvement

Perhaps it would be cheaper for GM to supply us with a case of shaving cream.

only way to fix this is remove the air box and put a seal on that door.
