Comparing prices of things in NYC to other areas of the country is futile. Hell, you'll pay $3,000/month for an apartment the size of a linen closet there.

I'm probably just going to make sure I drive it as much as I can this winter and not let it sit for weeks at a time. The only way I would do that is if it turned really cold and snowed several days in a row without the snow melting. Being retired the budget won't allow me to spend an extra $150+ A month for storage.

I am about to pay 165 a month. But she will still be driven frequently. As I type my Camaro is covered in snow.

If I didn't have a garage, I wouldn't have bought the car until I had one.

Before my life situation changed & now I need the Camaro as a DD when I'm in town I was also searching for storage space. The running rate around here is ~150 a month but some places give the first month free which brought the season total to $450ish since I was going to do 12/1-3/31.

I then thought to myself - would I pay myself $450 to clean off my dd as needed to allow the Camaro to stay in the garage & the answer was a resounding 'Yes!'.

However if I didn't have a garage at all then I'm not sure what I'd do.

How is this rude and unsupportive? I've seen you give many opinions in threads that were a bit off the topic.

You are too damn sensitive and your posts always seem to end up in controversy.

I did change that part of my reply.
Not too sensitive, just tired of all my thread being derailed into areas not intended.
Yes I have posted off topic in others threads but I try not to unless the thread has already been thrown off course.
I just want to keep this on subject for a change.

$150 for a full year. in when I want out when I want. Its not heated. You can get a heated for $85mo. and thats a high end place next to rare ferraris and other 100K+ cars
You guys have to look for a car storage place not a self storage locker. A locker will always be more because they are for people moving that only need them for a month or two in most cases

Full 1LE suspension, with BMR adjustable sway bars and links, GM aluminum cradle bushings, Hurst shifter with lighter reverse spring, TWM shifter knob, Tick level 1 transmission. I should have bought a ZL1

Unfortunately we don't have any dedicated Auto storage facilities around here.
$150 for an entire year is very cheap, less than $13 a month is a steal.

find a guy with a barn with no animals in it. There a lot of people that have barns with nothing in them.

I have empty space in my 4 car garage since I downsized my collection. I rent 3 spaces, not heated, for $75/month for the winter. Two car garage at house houses my 2010 Camaro SS and my 2012 Silverado.
