I could see the Camaro being the only front engine V8 sports car they offer, the quality of the Camaro has stepped up a LOT. Then the Vettes all going mid engine, although as mentioned above, hopefully within $5K of current pricing and probably still sharing motors with the V8 Camaros, base mid engine Vettes at least. Then obviously they'll come out with Z06 and ZR1 versions that will cost more and will put them more in line with the exotics. I'd be okay with this.

Sorry, but there's no chance in hell Chevy will sell a mid-engine Vette for just a $5000 premium over the Stingray. The Camaro SS 1LE package is $6500 and that's basically just bolt on items to an existing platform.

I heard the mid engine Corvette was going to be about 100k to 150k. I came to the 2ss after buying a 2014 mustang GT. The mustang was such a bargain compared to everything else at the time. I drove a Corvette in 2014 and decided have was what I wanted this time round. I took both the Vet and the camaro out this time round and just couldn't justify an entry level vet against a loaded 2ss. The camaro really is at the top of its game at the moment. This is coming from a Brit who move to the US in 2014.
