GoPro mounting position

Looking for suggestions onto where I should place my GoPro on the exterior of the car. I have PDR which I'll be using. Doing chevy day at Indy track tmrw. Thanks in advance.

I always place my second one on the rear window to shoot backwards and then I have a rear view mirror type shot I can embed into the video.

EDIT: You can actually see it in my sig pic.

EDIT 2: Here's an example of what it looks like

I like the roof. Gives you a wide overview of everything like a video game.

What mount are you using for the headrest? I've been sticking mine on the passenger side window.

VSC video editor in this one but I just got RaceRender 3 which what I'm going to start using going forward.

Thanks! I totally forgot the headrest adjust up lol. I had my gopro mounted in the same way in my BMW with a couple of universal mounts tied together. Going to have to retry that setup now.

thanks man. I think I would like to do the PDR as the main video with sound coming from my external mic and an inlay video from my helmet or a rear-facing camera. i may pick up the RaceRender3 Ultimate and see if i can figure it out ha
