Drag radials research

Did research on this site and everywhere else. I'm trying to buy drag radials and rims for my Gen 6 Camaro. I'm trying to get them for under $900 (which seems reasonable to me).

Here's what I found out:

Tire Rack says,,, NO to C5 Z06 rims says they will fit but not exact and may wobble. They have Toyo Proxes TQ's -315 35 18 and 18" rims for $878. (don't know about the TQ's )

Summit Racing ,,,,has 18X10 Torque Trust 2 wheels 5 3/4 offset and Nitto 555- 305 40 18 tires total $936. But will not guarantee they will fit and not take them back once mounted and balanced.

Discount Tire,,,,TSW wheels 5x120 18" and Nitto 05 - 315 40 18 for $1173 (too much $)

Please help me decide or if any of you have any ideas I would appreciate the help.

Thanks ahead of time

Man you really do need help. Just say no to nittos unless they are NT05R's. Mickey Thompson ET streets are also one of the best. Also the hoosier DOT Drag radial 2. Those are real DRs for the strip. And you do not drive on them on the street unless you will be in warm sunshine weather only. Rain is a death sentence to these tires.

DONT get the nitto 555 or the like. I have seen plenty of friends just skate on those at even the best prepped tracks. MTs or the Nitto NT05Rs are where its at. Try to run an 18" also if you can.

Nice.....I researched the hell out of drag radials before I settled on the Nitto 555r 305 35 20s drag radials. I chatted with many hard core racers on Camaro 5. There was plenty of positive feedback for the 555rs. Good street tire with the best durability. Your able to drive them in the rain. And at the track ...unless your making bid big power they work great.Keep us updated ...my Nittos are night and day difference on the street...thats with full boltons .....391 gears and 3200 stall. Im hoping to be track testing May 6th.

I've ran 28x10.5-17 bias ply Hoosiers on C5 Z06 knock offs from OEwheelsllc.com and didn't have any rub or wobble issues. Sold the Hosiers and plan on running M&H racemaster 275/50r-17's next. I don't plan on driving on the street with the drag radials much though, mainly track use.
