My SS 1LE came off the dealer lot. So I was unable to order the red seatbelts from the factory. I definitely want the red seatbelts on this car, and I’m seriously considering going all the way with red knee pads and red armrest.

Has anyone added this to a rapid blue car, and regretted it?
Did it go too far and look like something from McDonald’s?

This car is a serious track racer and would look quite GT3-ish with them.

Well, you probably don't see much blue paint from the inside (assuming you'll leave the matte hood wrap on), and conversely you won't see the red knee pads and seatbelts from the outside either, so I don't think it'll look too cartoonish. Smurf blue is not my cup of tea, but I honestly don't think you made a mistake.

+1, when you’re inside the car with properly adjusted mirrors, you do not see the actual paint of the car at all until you careen your head at odd angles. I put them in my car to match the seat belts, second choice was going full alacantara but don’t want to start mix/matching the red and grey stitching with the ZL1 suede parts

Damn, I’m jealous. I wanted blue, but ended up with Red. The red is nice, but the calipers and seatbelts don’t pop as much, when it’s all the same color.

I think they'll look just fine! I plan to do the knee and arm rests in red too. I've got the Hyper Blue, but same idea. One of my bucket list cars that I almost owned, had it not been for my LAST 6th gen was an Electron Blue C5 z06 with the Mod Red interior.



...you mentioned Mcdonalds. You're fine. No Blue in McDonalds! Coincidentally though, speaking of c5 Z's, they did make some Millenium Yellow cars with Mod Red. LOVE the yellow, but not with red. Bleh. THAT was ugly.lol.

I got this color combination (except the red arm rest) and I love it. I was also on the fence, trying to figure out how red would look with blue, and I thought it would be bad but decided to risk it since I can live with but don't really like black interiors, I prefer having color at least on the seats but this was the best I could have from the factory IMO.

Since the brake calipers are red (for the little time they remain clean ) there is still some matching.

Obvious the Red, is the hottest pick and probably soon to be out of production (sad)

Keep an eye on the Facebook groups, I picked up my red from a ZL1 owner switching to suede months back

Though if you want for a ultimately comfier experience I’d contact krops, if I would do it again I’d go through him for his custom ones
