Car & Driver New Camaro vs. Mustang on the stands
I didn't see this get posted ( The actual cover) But we now have another Camaro vs. Mustang comparison.
Looks like a 2SS Auto vs. GT PP manual and guess what... numbers are even better than the MT numbers.

Sorry, but I am not able to post all of this article here. 100% choice over ability. Without guys like us purchasing these magazines Road and Track, Motor Trend etc... would not stay in business.
But as the results have been posted on the C&D website, I can share those.

I would be willing to bet that magazine subscriptions are a small part of their revenue. Most of it comes from advertising on the Internet. But ok. I respect it.

It was shameful to see the MT article plastered all over this site ahead of their website reveal of the content. I know we're all excited and account for a small number of viewers, but I certainly hope everyone who digested the MT review has a subscription or at least counts as traffic to their website.

Great numbers but not sure those top gear acceleration numbers for the camaro are correct. The auto trans had to have shifted to get those times. Not sure about the Camaro but when my 335i is in Sport+ and I have it in manual mode it will not shift unless I tell it too. It will lug at low RPM's and bunce off the rev limiter all day if you let it. I hope the Camaro is the same way

uh...why would they test an automatic Camaro vs a manual Mustang?
I have to be honest, I am moving more and more toward the Mustang GT Vert. I will make up my mind in the Spring, but just looking at the costs, the stang will be $4,000 less for the same vehicle. If they add rebates and 0% for 72 like they did in September, it's a no-brainer. |

MRC isn't something g you can get in the Mustang and adding the auto the the GT brings the pricing closer together. I am willing to bet GM didn't give them an option of what car they got. So they paired it vs. The Mustang they could get.
