That's exactly the reason. Only the 2SS and ZL1 got the rearview camera mirror for the 2019 model year.

Mosaic black without direct light or unless it’s in the sun just looks like black. When the sun hits it, it really shows. I get compliments about the color when it’s sunny.

Z06 vs ZL1 test
Ok, tested out a Corvette Z06 and a Camaro Zl1 yesterday. I tried to find manuals and the best I could find were:
2015 Z06 manual 1LZ 20k miles Seemed to have a misfire brakes were a little soft suspension seemed harsh (I thought it had magnaride) maybe it was modified I felt slightly tall in the windshield at 6 feet even. It had the GT seats, which weren't great imo. I don't think this one was a good test. 2022 Zl1 8k miles but it ended up being an auto when I got there. This one was in great shape and had some mods 1LE OEM like wing but didn't have an X on it Intake Corsa Exhaust Supercharger pulley mod I didn't really like that particular Z06 at least. So I should try a different one when I can. But I was really impressed by the ZL1, I know the mods changed it a bit but even so it was a very nice car. I haven't liked a car that much in a long time. Imo it makes the chargers seem pretty crappy. And it seems better than a gt350 to me. I would like to try the manual but I don't really need to to know I would like it. What color I would like that is a tough one. Black, mosaic black, I kinda like the orange crush, but I think black will only look good with red in the interior. To me it felt lighter in the corners than the gt350. But I did take the gt350 on hard corners and was mostly normal driving the Zl1. Doesn't matter though I don't like the gt350. Anyways I will try another Z06 but I am leaning toward the ZL1 for now. I think the Z06 will hold value better though. But I want what drives and feels the best. |

I would look at a 2017 or later Z06. The ‘17s and up got the same supercharger lid and intercooler bricks as the ZL1. The earlier Z06s, especially the automatics, would go into limp mode from overheating. This mostly occurred during track use but there were reports of it happening during spirited driving.
