$200 for this Billy Boat Exhaust?

$200. Does not include the twin mid pipes leading up to the mufflers. NPP flaps were cut due to rattling. Full retail setup is $2k. Do you guys think I should??

From my understanding the valves weren't the issue for the rattling, it was a design flaw within the muffler. I maybe wrong, but I followed the thread closely.

The welding on the tips look horrible and there is a hole in the spot weld for the tag.......run away my friend.

This is a classic cost vs. benefits decision...
Workmanship does look shoddy, but it's only $200.
Even if there are holes I bet you could get this patched up, installed, and still come out way below $2k.

Just talked to a friend at the local muffler shop. A pair of magnaflows installed with your tips should run around $450 with no difference in performance. In addition after showing him the pics he said it would probably cost more to spruce those up and install than the above mentioned $450. He did say the the Billy Boat mufflers do have a distinct sound.

This thread is old, but I'm wondering if you bought them? My first rattly set were from the same build date. It was an internal issue and mine were replaced under warranty.
