ZL1 Rear bumper leaner

My ZL1 emblem leans and I wish I could change it, but now I am getting used to it. I must have had the one eye employee that follows the upper part of the bumper.

How many ZL1's are leaners or not leaners?

I'm planning on removing the rear ZL1 badge shortly after I receive the car, I was never a fan of the 6th gen rear badge placement, always thought it looks kinda like a after thought?

It looks like it follows the contour of the bend above rather than below.

I took mine off the day the car came home, so I'm not sure what angle it was at.

I have seen them level with the ground too. So no telling what is going on. Now I check every Camaro. I have not seen many ZL1's on the street in the DFW area. I see them at the dealer and check them for level.

These are just held on with double sided tape? No pins?

The rear emblem on my ZL1 (March 2017 build) is level with the ground.

If that's the case your level is out of whack.

So...we asked Al about this when the ZL1 was very first unveiled...and apparently, the designers felt very strongly that the badge up on the deck lid with the bowtie would ruin the balance of the rear of the car since that panel is so small.

The only other place they could put it due to the character lines was down where it is on the main portion of the fascia...and they had to work around the reverse sensors because some of the early, "better looking", placements messed up the sensor readings. The result is what we have in production form.
