Just checked with Chevy, same status for me, 3400 TPW 10/12. Tried to get some information out of them about this week, but they said that they do not know if production has actual started...take it for it is worth.

I say 100-150 for me...could be way off but it would be cool to have a low VIN.

VINs are created as soon as the body begins the process of being welded up. At least that's what we did in the St. Louis Dodge Ram plant.

We called the process of welding the body together "framing". Don't know if LGR has another term for it.

If they started welding bodies, those bodies should have VINs.
Maybe those VINs aren't reported to the system that dealers use, but they should exist.

From what I have seen, the VIN is created at 3300. The Corvette forums have numerous posts from members at 3300 with their VIN.

VIN 0001 in some instances have been known to go for $1,000,000 for those few of us who did not know that.
