It was used on the 4th gen and I liked it a lot. Maybe a modern version would be great. Just remove weight!!

The heritage grill looks just fine without a bow tie so I'd suggest designing a good looking grille that doesn't incorporate one.
Yes the red white and blue emblem was used on 4th gens.
Here is one from 95.

Thanks for the info. A Red White and Blue emblem was also used on Mustangs (not sure what generations) and it was very similar to the one used on the Camaro. So what pony car used them first?
In terms of emblems I like the SS in the center of the grille... maybe just leave the V6 with the bow tie. And I really wish engine displacement was advertised on the car (V8's only) in cubic inches

That emblem was used through 2002.

Could be wrong but I'm guessing these guys on a Javelin or something.

All AMCs had that emblem on them for a few years, sort of like the GM Chicklet.

too much electronics. the less the better. scrap all the gizmos; hud, back up cameras, electric steering that fail electronic suspensions, stupid key stuck in ignition, no electric door latch... i think that's enough.

the more simple less trouble and less trip at the dealer. we want to drive. not sit and wait while it's getting fixed.

-A corporate sellout like the 2015 Mustang(corporate grille, 4 banger trim, etc)
-A body just as bulky(and heavy) as the current model
-The refresh tailights
-The refresh chrome strip above the grill

Just don't f-k it up like Ford did with the Mustang. Stay true the car's roots and don't try to make it look like something it's not.

I dont want to see:
- Cheap interior quality/look (like mentioned here, something like 2014 SS Impala interior would be awesome)
- Too much futuristic design elements, keep it close to the origins (big and aggressive lookin)
- Heavy weigth
- Visibility (at least add a few parking sensors for contries with smaller parking space than the us)
- Dumbo mirrors on the eu models, just find a better looking solution

Don't want to see:

Gas guzzler tax
Same or more weight than current 5th gen
mustang tail lights : )

Lt1 + handling capability of 1le + diet = awesome 6th gen
