Scotchgard ZL1 MicroSuede
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M65L5Q3...517094024&sr=1
I just wanted to let folks know that I've tested Scotchgard on my ZL1 micro-suede inserts, steering wheel, seats, carpet, and floormats successfully. There is no difference in appearance or how the fabric feels. I used old towels and pieces of card board to avoid spraying the leather or plastic trim. The limited amount of overspray on trim or leather wipes off if you get it immediately. The steering wheel is the most difficult to spray due to the geometry. I blanketed the dash in old towels and used smaller rags to cover the steering wheel plastic. I didn't get 100% coverage, but it was close enough. Scotchgard sprays on and dries in 10-15 minutes. You don't need to buy the "automotive" branded stuff, since it is the same as the original fabric protector. One 10 oz bottle was barely enough to do a single coat on everything. https://www.scotchgard.com/3M/en_US/...4529207&rt=rud

I got 50 SPF sunscreen (water proof) off the suede with just a mixture of:
12 oz cold water 1 cap distilled white vinegar 1 drop of dawn dish soap Re-applied scotchgard when I was done. Looks perfect.
