Anyone carry a spare or have to fix a flat?
Anyone carry a spare tire or have to fix a flat with the flat repair kit? I'm thinking when just cursing around I'd like to have a small spare tire (and jack) that I can put on rather than just relying on the flat repair kit.
Something like this would be great, this one is on the expensive side https://modernspare.com/product/2016...ncluding-case/ |

I plan on getting something like that when I switch to non run flats.

As someone who has had the luck to hit two separate pieces of metal, resulting in two tire replacements, I would absolutely buy this. The fix a flat kit that comes can't fix a piece of metal like I experienced which required me getting towed. If you commute in your car, this is a great buy.

If you have flat-anxiety, then by all means.

You can put together a kit for yourself, there is discussion (and pictures) about it in this thread: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...=487126&page=3
I put together a kit for a cross country trip (HR Power Tour). |
