Is the V8 version the same muffler as the resent V6 axle back that this entire thread is about?

^ That is not the new V6 axle back exaust. That is a custom fabricated exaust with the V8 mufflers welded on. The V6 axle back doesn't have mufflers on it. It's basically a muffler delete with j-bends.

Back to the original question, has anyone purchased and installed the V6 axle back? If so, how does it sound with the turbo 4? Better? Worse? Indifferent?

In case anyone forgot what this thread is about, I re-posted the link below.

I'm well aware of what it is. If you'd paid attention to who I was replying to I'm pretty confident he was asking for under belly pictures of the modified V8 system. Which is exactly what I replied to him with.

In case you're offended that this thread got slightly off topic, I'm sorry you're so easily offended.

The exhaust with no mufflers will be obnoxious and sound like shit. These cars do not sound good at all with straight pipe. The mufflers actually give a descent sound. The system is mostly the V8 system. Where the merge pipe is located is where we hacked it off at.
