I for one will be removing it and getting stripes painted on like the convertible concept car, not a fan of black hood or wheels but that's ok because it will make mine a little bit different.

If I were to get a 1LE that is what I would do as well. Remove the vinyl wrap and add some stripes. The wheels aren't that bad if they were polished or chrome. Which you could have them sent out to be chromed for about $500 or so.

For those that want to remove the wrap....look at using Rapidtac.

Arrow WTF?!?

You mean GM still hasn't learned the difference between exposed and unexposed? LOL Should be a discount for the exposed hood!

A picky person is constantly going to be seeing all the flaws in the flat vinyl. And when the hood is popped open you can see all the wrinkles at the corners and cut edges. I can't imagine they are thinking that will last long at all.
I agree that the hood's black vinyl wrap looks very cheap, doesn't make justice to this great car. GM, Please allow us better the stripe option.
When I buy this car, it will be the only thing that I will throw in the trash.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

It's painted on, so you'd have to repaint it if you really don't like it. Sorry

well...looking at the paint job on the 1LE...I think we know who's copying who. The paint job on your car was done a LONG time ago...and was the first I had ever seen where the rear spoiler was painted flat black...

BTW...XM will run out on the car on Sept 2...
